• HISTORY ASPECTS:
The Panther, officially known as the Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, was a German medium tank deployed during World War II. Introduced in 1943, the Panther quickly gained a reputation as one of the most effective and well-balanced tanks of the war. It featured a powerful 75mm KwK 42 L/70 gun, sloped armor for increased protection, and excellent mobility. The Panther was designed to counter the formidable Soviet T-34 and became a key component of German armored divisions on both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
One of the significant conflicts where the Panther played a crucial role was on the Eastern Front during the Battle of Kursk in 1943. The tank’s combination of firepower, armor, and maneuverability made it a formidable opponent against Soviet armored units. The Panther’s effectiveness continued throughout the war, participating in various battles and defensive operations. Its design influenced post-war tank development, leaving a lasting impact on armored warfare.
This finely detailed 1:76 scale model captures the essence of this iconic tank. The miniature replica showcases the distinctive features of the Panther, from its sloped armor to the powerful gun. History enthusiasts and collectors alike can appreciate the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating this model, offering a tangible piece of World War II history for display and admiration.
