About the Volkswagen Golf R 333 Limited Edition
Volkswagen unveiled the Golf R 333 Limited Edition in 2023 as an exclusive development of the Golf Mk8 R Performance. The name reflected both its 333 PS output and its strictly limited production run of just 333 full-size cars. Power came from Volkswagen’s 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and was delivered through a seven-speed DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system.
The specification went considerably further than the distinctive paintwork. R-Performance Torque Vectoring could distribute power between the front and rear axles and individually between the rear wheels, while the R-Performance package included additional driving profiles.
